Frequently Asked Questions
-
HOW LONG WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THE COURSE MATERIALS?
You will have access to the course materials for two full years from the purchase date. This includes access to any course updates and additions that are made during this time. There is also an option to purchase a course extension if you would like continued access past the two years - please email [email protected] for more information on course extension options.
-
ARE THERE ANY LIVE CALLS INCLUDED?
The course is a self-paced program, however you can add on live group insurance coaching for accountability and support with all your questions as you go through the course and the credentialing/billing process. The next cohort starts on November 6th.
-
WHAT INSURANCE PLANS DOES THIS COURSE COVER?
The course covers private insurance plans (i.e. Aetna, United, Cigna, BCBS, etc). It details the CAQH, which you use for Medicaid credentialing, and provides information on what to research for Medicaid nutrition coverage in your state, as coverage for nutrition varies state to state and it's not possible to credential in all states. Currently, the course does not cover Medicare credentialing as this is an entirely separate (and more complex) process.
-
WILL I BE ABLE TO TAKE BREAKS IN BETWEEN THE SECTIONS OF THIS COURSE?
Absolutely! The course is self-paced, so you can go as quickly or as slowly as is comfortable for you. You have access for two full years to all course material.
-
HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THIS COURSE?
It depends on the pace you go at. We estimate that each module can take about 2-3 hours to complete, including watching the video presentations and completing the workbooks.
